Springbrook Park

On Wednesday morning the sun decided to come out for a little bit. So I decided to take Braden to a local playground instead of library story time.  Of course by the time we got there it started to sprinkle a bit, but that didn't stop us.  Braden wanted to continue playing!

He discovered the baseball field

I showed him how to run the bases

He followed close behind me

Running towards home plate (but he stopped, because I slipped in the mud - thankfully did not fall down)

Puddle fun before heading home

Jumpin'

Another reason we went to the park was to take some photos for Mike's Father's Day frame.  So, hopefully he doesn't read my blog post before tomorrow morning!

To continue with the "community" theme Braden and I worked together on a medical bag craft before bed.  We talked about doctors and how their job is to help make people feel better.  We also talked about each item that went "in the bag".  He originally wanted me to put the bandaid on his hand.

"suitcase"

Playing with the firemen puppets I made this morning in preparation for tomorrow!

Helping glue the items

Ready to move on to books & bedtime routine
