Well one of the activities I had planned for this weeks "Eric Carle" theme was to collect seashells at the beach and then paint them. There are a few sea/beach related books that are either by Eric Carle or he illustrated them. But, of course we started having fun at the beach and I completely forgot to grab some shells to take home!
