Sorry, I have been busy working on a sewing project and a painting/staining project during nap and bed time. So, I have not had a great deal of "free time" for blogging.
We wrapped up community helper week with a little badge craft. I cut out a shield shape and then handed Braden a star stamp for him to decorate his badge. He wanted to go back and forth between the colors. Then he decided it would be more fun to use his finger.
Let's get started |

Close up of the badge |
Time to use my finger |
Putting his badge on |
In preparation for this theme I found these "community helper" cards from Teachers Pay Teachers. Originally I was going to try to do some type of matching activity. Instead I just gave them to Braden to see what he would do with them.
Collecting the cards as I cut them out |
Spreading all of the cards out |
He decided to use some to cover up our Father's Day picture project |
I'd ask him where one of the "helpers" were and he would flip them over to find them |
Looking for one of the helpers |
Hmmmm... |
