We have a season pass to the Children's Museum in Portland, which means we go quite frequently. With the focus this week on "Community Helpers" I knew it would be a great place to go on a rainy day. Especially because Braden loves the fire truck! So, Friday morning off we went for about two hours and when we left the sun was out and it ended up being a beautiful afternoon!

Mailing letters (just like a mail carrier) **This was the first time I had seen this in the museum. There are little mailboxes throughout as well** |

Feeding the cow |
When we got to the store section of the museum ALL of the food was originally in the scale. A woman there started taking things out and sorting them, so that other kids could "buy" them. So, Braden decided to help her!

Putting on the fire hat inside the fire truck |
|
The ball play place is another section that we do not visit very often - surprisingly! |
|
He was having fun pushing buttons to make the bowls spin and then trying to get the ball inside |
After nap we did a little mouth craft. We talked about brushing our teeth every day and how the dentist cleans & fixes teeth as well.
