School Bus Shapes

Today was a very busy day, but we still managed to have some fun with shapes.  While I was getting ready to make dinner, Braden played around with the colored daubers.  He can now identify a circle, however he would say "circle" for all of the shapes, because of the spaces for stamping the colored daubers - understandable!

Time for some fun
"Heart"
Now he just wants to try all different colors

Afterwards Braden wanted to get down, so I had him climb up onto his learning tower to help make dinner.  He and Uncle Dave put the cheese filling together for the lasagna.

Before bed Braden and I worked on gluing together a school bus.  At first he tried to glue things himself, but then he did not like getting sticky hands.  So instead he would point to where he wanted the pieces to go and I would stick them.  He was able to point out the square, but he had trouble when I asked him where the circle was - because he viewed it as a wheel!
