Yesterday morning B and I headed to Kennebunk for a mom's group meet and greet. He was immediately drawn to the matchbox cars and a few little train toys. He seems to be more and more interested in them, so that is why I thought transportation would be fun for him.
After nap we did some coloring together to create our own town map for him to use when playing with his cars. This will be something we work on through out the week, because we worked on it for about 10 minutes and then he wanted to play with the ball.

First Step: Get Braden to stop sitting on the map!
Coloring with Braden... |
Then I tried to show him how to drive the cars around on the map/in the town.

What do I do? |

"Vroom Vroom" |
For the transportation sensory bin I bought a pack of vehicle sponges. The ones that start off looking like pills and then dissolve in water to change shape. I was curious what Braden would think of the whole process.

Loved putting them in the water |
But, did not like waiting for them to open up. He just wanted to play in the water!!
Sage kept trying to drink the water as well.

I have to wait? |

All done! |
