Cold Hands, Warm Heart

Today was one of the REALLY cold days, so I decided to bring the snow inside.  I started off with an empty water bottle and created a snowman face, buttons and a scarf.  Then I filled it up with snow to see if Braden would like it.  He can sometimes be a little picky!  But, he loved shaking it up, feeling the coldness and pretending to drink it up. I wonder what he will think tomorrow morning when it is just water.  I can hear him now, "where'd go?"
"Cold"
Drink

Because he enjoyed the snowman so much I decided to bring in a bucket of snow to see what he would do.

Hmm, what is this?
Scooping up the snow

Newest thing - dumping things out
Snowball!
Throwing the snowball to Sage (so she will eat it)
Where'd it go?

We ended the night with a snowman painting craft.  I am always looking for creative ways to do painting projects with Braden, because he doesn't like to get his hands dirty.  Tonight we used a toilet paper roll!  He was into it for a little while, until he grabbed the wrong end...
